Mark has many years sailmaking experience. He founded Gale and Rimington Sailmakers in the early 1980s and, more recently, UK Halsey Sailmakers. His diverse sailing resume includes a Flying Fifteen World Championship. His sails successes include multiple national and world championships in a broad range of one-design classes and offshore races.
Mark's racing expertise adds further strength to Ullman Sails' inter-generational team, which blends time-honoured skills with contemporary smarts. Locationwise, this move puts Ullman Sails squarely in the heart of Victorian sailing. With lofts on both sides of Port Philip Bay, Ullman Sails Melbourne can now provide unprecedented sail design, development, quality and service.
The Ullman Sails group is now amongst Australia's largest lofts network, with manufacturing facilities and representatives in all major states and sailing locations: Melbourne (Sandringham), Geelong, Metung, Sydney, the Sunshine Coast, the Whitsundays and Perth.
