Simon Grain and Will Canty from Smart Marketing, the Marine industry web development and Web Sailing Video specialists, were at the Sydney International Boat Show last week and while the weather was bucketing down outside making filming on the marina impossible, spent the day talking to sailing identities and exhibitors alike inside.
Simon Grain commented; 'The general feeling of the show was very upbeat with masses of power boats, accessories and sail. We covered a number of speakers both on the sailing stage and in individual interviews and these will be released over the next few weeks and they include Katie Spithill, Penny Haire and Chris Nicholson.
The first group of videos now online include several multi-part interviews as we find that people are keen to speak and we try to keep the file sizes to a minimum.
In this range of 15 video clips you will get an insight into the people and ideas behind some of Australia's most notable marine companies. If you didn't get to the show then this will give you a picture of the amazing action of this huge show. These clips include Andrew Short from Andrew Short Marine (in another clip to come Andrew will describe his line honours win in the inaugural Melbourne to Vanuatu Race), Trevor Joyce from Mariner Boating Holidays, Christian Brook from Boat Books, Greg Boller from Sunsail, Martin Thompson from Sydney Yachts and more.
The Boating Industry Association of NSW, organisers of the Sydney International Boat Show have described this year's event as one of the most challenging, yet most successful. The show was clearly an outstanding success and if you didn't get to the show - here's what they said.
