The US-built Sunstream FloatLift will make its Sydney International Boat Show (SIBS) debut, 2-6 August 2012.

To be exhibited by floatation specialist Superior, the Sunstream FloatLift is the world’s leading hydraulic, free-floating boat lift. With the fastest launch and recovery speeds and a three-year hydraulic warranty, the FloatLift offers a serious return on investment for serious boaters.

Superior CEO John Hogan said the FloatLift was ideally suited for Australian boats and Australian boaters.

'This boat lift can be tied alongside a pontoon or kept on a swing mooring… it suits almost any boat owner and a wide range of boats,' Mr Hogan said.

'It’s incredibly fast… we also love the solar charging and remote control as it makes it extremely flexible and versatile.'

Sunstream FloatLift models range from 2.7T up to 10.8T and feature hi-speed hydraulics, unsinkable floats, remote control and solar charging.

With typical launch speeds of 18 seconds and typical recovery speeds of 30 seconds, the FloatLift beats competing products by minutes.

Solar charging gives the FloatLift the flexibility of not needing mains power while requiring just lines and cleats to secure it to a dock means it’s mobile and avoids messy permanent installation. As a free-floating boat lift it can also be secured to a swing mooring and can be simply towed into position.

'With a three year warranty on the hydraulics, reduced wear on the hull and the reduction in hull maintenance overall, customers will get a serious return on their investment with a Sunstream Boat Lift,' Mr Hogan said.

'The unique rotating action of the floats also makes cleaning and maintenance easy [the bottom side of each float rotates 90 degrees during launch and can be hosed-off or pressure-washed from the dock]. The floats are so stable you can walk on them and inspect the hull.'

In addition to displaying the FloatLift at SIBS for the first time, Superior is looking to establish sales partnerships/dealerships with boat sales companies that want to offer complete boat and berth solutions to their customers.

The Sunstream Boat Lift range also includes the V-Lift (award winning air displacement lift), SunLift (free-standing hydraulic lift) and SunPort2 (PWC lift/ramp).

Superior will be exhibiting on the Cockle Bay side of the marina at SIBS. The company also manufactures marinas, private pontoons, industrial/mining floatation and rotomoulded plastic products.
