New gadget to excite boaties at Rivergate International Boat Show

'Marine Angel'    Rivergate Brisbane
Family owned and operated business Big Fish Specialist Imports (BFSI) will debut an innovative GPS tracking and control device at the inaugural Rivergate International Boat Show, from October 5 to 7 at Rivergate Marina, Murrarie.

The revolutionary and feature packed Marine Angel will provide boat owners with the knowledge their vessel is secure, by quickly sending an alert if security is breached to a nominated mobile phone via SMS.

BFSI managing director James Fisher said the Marine Angel is an amazing product that will change the way people safeguard their vessels.

'The self-contained GPS tracking, remote monitoring and remote control device instantly sends an SMS to your mobile if your vessel or vehicle is tampered with, or moved outside a set radius.

'The size of a mobile phone, the Marine Angel has been tailored to the rugged and water-resistant demands of the marine industry, and installs easily in just a few minutes,' he said.

Rivergate International Boat Show general manager Narelle Jensen said the Marine Angel is an exciting piece of technology to showcase at the boat show.

'We are excited BFSI have decided to debut this innovative device at the boat show and are sure it will prove extremely popular amongst patrons,' Ms Jensen said.

Rivergate International Boat Show will bring together the best that life on the water has to offer, from jet skis, power and sail boats to luxury cruisers and marine accessories. In contrast to boat shows of the past, the event will have a distinctive family friendly flavour with on-site demonstrations, fashion, a marketplace, gourmet food, and a sea trial area where prospective buyers can try before they buy.

The show is expected to attract more than 20,000 visitors over three spectacular Queensland spring days.
