Force Racing's Andrew Brown brings us up to date with the latest in the foiling Moth scene:

Thought winter would be slow, but no way! Had 6 days helping the NZL Sailing Team 470 squad, build up towards the 470 world championships. This regatta will be held in the Netherlands from the eighth until the 17th July.

I have been sailing the Moth as much as possible, but this has not been so much approx three times a week, just getting comfy in the boat and getting my feelings for the boat, before testing some more equipment. Tomorrow I have another testing session with training partner Matt Vincent.

The NZL Moth class is a buzz right now with the news that Pete Burling will contest the Moth Europeans after his 49er regatta in Weymouth England! This regatta is in August. Good Luck Pete. The website has been updated with many thanks to Sam @ TankWebservices, we have our Sailing School pages all done and looking good and we are very excited about the lanuch of the Schools Assassin Moth.

This Moth has been specifically designed for the rigors of the Sailing School. It will be a great experience for us all!!!

First lesson in the new Moth is the third of July! If you can come down to Lake Pupuke in Takapuna for a look at the boat and what we are doing! Will update after next weekend! All the best Brownie
