Ensign Yachts Pty Ltd is proud to announce that they have been appointed as the exclusive international agents for IAG Yachts for Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Thailand.
IAG Yachts, a collaboration of twin brothers Michael and Bernard Chang, operates out of their two offices in Hong Kong and Florida. Ensign is excited to bring the unique combination of passion, family values, and dreams that makes up the essence of IAG Yachts to Australasia.
As far as the design philosophy adopted by the Chang brothers, they report that: 'Together with acclaimed yacht builder Andrea Nicolai and our talented interior designers, IAG prides itself in synergizing such talents to achieve the pinnacle in yacht design and create some of the world’s most desired superyachts.'
Furthermore, IAG Yachts pride themselves on giving their utmost attention to safety, performance and engineering, primarily. In essence, each and every one of the superyachts designed and built by IAG are guaranteed to be of an extremely high standard!
To date, IAG Yachts have presented two ranges of superyachts, the ‘Prima Donna’ range and the ‘Electra’ range. The first Prima Donna 127’ that was completed last year attended the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which was well-received by the audience. Since the show, a contract has signed by the American dealers for hull 5 of the Prima Donna range. In terms of the ‘Electra’ range, the Managing Director of Ensign Yachts Pty Ltd, Tony Ross, is about to sign a contract for hull 2 for the 100’ Electra.
In addition to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the superyachts received plenty of attention at other important international events such as the Hong Kong Boat Show (May 2011), the Shanghai International Boat Show (April 2011), and the Miami Yacht and Brokerage Show (April 2011), as well as a number of publications including the Megayacht News and Yachts International.
Ensign Yachts is determined to offer the Prima Donna and Electra ranges to its superyacht buyers, as they too hold a similar belief that these buyers deserve the highest standards of design and construction, combined with the greatest possible value for money!
