In a step that reinforces its planned expansion and diversification strategy Dryad Maritime - the UK’s largest commercial specialist in Maritime Intelligence - today announced the opening of its new office development in Hastings, UK.

The move is the next phase in a major programme of expansion and comes as Dryad seek to harness growth opportunities, enhance existing 24/7 business continuity and ensure it is at the forefront of the latest technological developments. The expansion marks Dryad’s mandatory commitment to extend the provision of its global maritime intelligence services.

Following significant investment, the new facility was officially opened in December to house the growing technical support and software development teams while offering additional provision to Dryad’s expanding customer base. These teams will continue developing new features for Dryad’s custom built intelligence handling technology, a system designed to improve the of Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) through improved maritime domain awareness .

The new site also acts as a robust secondary back-up centre for Dryad, ensuring critical and sustained business continuity in this important 24/7 operation. The centre will provide a full-scale back-up operation effectively complimenting Dryad as it continues to implement its global growth and strategy plans.

Graeme Gibbon-Brooks, Managing Director of Dryad Maritime Intelligence, said:

'At Dryad we are always striving to redefine standards and improve our services to clients in the maritime sector. This office will play a pivotal role in our future plans as we look to make additional investments to grow our services at Dryad Maritime Intelligence. Organisations are placing contracts with us because they know we are able to look after their maritime security requirements all day, every day, all year round and that we will always go the extra mile to keep their systems fully functioning.'

He added: 'Our success is mainly attributed to the calibre of the staff, their expert skills and our combined efforts to ensure the needs of our customers are met and surpassed. We are confident that the new office, will serve Dryad and our clients be they individual or commercial, for the exciting years ahead.'
