Sail-World.com : Chris Murray departs Sanctuary Cove
Chris Murray departs Sanctuary Cove
|
Sanctuary Cove is seeking a replacement for recent recruit, Chris Murray, who replaced Barry Jenkins in May and now departs after just three months in the job. According to Sanctuary Cove, it was a 'mutual decision' between management and Murray that coincided with his three-month probation in the role of General Manager Events and Marina. Murray will remain in Brisbane and is thought to be pursuing his interests and previous experience in the electronics industry. Mulpha Developments, owner of Sanctuary Cove, is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced people for the role with an urgency to fill it as soon as practically possible. Phil Shaw, Events Director, said the rest of the team is working 'full steam ahead for the 2011 event'. 'We are on track for a 1 November launch of our online booking form for next year's event and the prospectus for exhibitors for the 23rd Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.' Costs are being evaluated as well. 'We are very conscious that the GFC has impacted on the marine industry and will be doing our utmost to keep costs as low as possible,' said Shaw. Qualified people keen to apply for consideration for the role should contact the HR manager: coreym@sanctuarycove.com
