Boab Boat Crew has been launched as the ultimate path to boat ownership, delivering a huge range of exclusive benefits and the potential to earn a financial return. An initiative of Australia’s leading boat hire company, Boab Boat Hire, the ownership program offers people the opportunity to buy a share in a fully-equipped, Honda-powered Boab boat, which is managed by the company’s national franchise network. Along with a designated amount of annual boat usage, Boab Boat Crew members receive an exclusive crew member pack containing branded merchandise, tackle and other gear (valued at over $1500); Boab Platinum Card membership, which offers huge discounts off Boab’s entire hire fleet anywhere in Australia; complimentary Team Honda Marine membership; and access to member-only rates on products and services offered through selected Boab suppliers. Boab director Paul Gelfius said the Boab Boat Crew program had been designed to meet the demands of boaters all over the country. 'Boab’s business model is built around providing our customers a smarter, more cost-effective and convenient way of boating and this new program extends that even further,' Mr Gelfius said. 'Starting from less than $40 a week, Boab Boat Crew members can own a share in a premium-quality trailer boat with ‘owner usage’ rights and enjoy the many other exclusive benefits offered by program. 'Based on a five-year turnaround, owners could also make a financial return.' Ownership opportunities are currently offered on the 6.00m Centre Cab (Honda BF150) and 5.70m Sports Rider (Honda BF135) vessels around Australia. As the two most popular boats in Boab’s fleet, each vessel has 12 unit trust shares available. While the program has been designed to make single-share ownership very affordable, individuals may own multiple shares within the same boat or across several boats. Sole ownership packages can also be put together on request. For more information and a copy of the Boab Boat Crew information memorandum, visit boabboatcrew.com.au
